Walk the 2.2 km (1.25 m) Battlefield Trail with panoramic views over the landscape and more audio and visual information about the battle and surrounding area.

Entrance to the Country Park is FREE – but there is a car park charge, which ranges from £2.00 for up to an hour, £3.50 for up to 2 hours, £4.50 up to 3 hours and over 3 hours for £5.00.

To keep everyone safe and protect our wildlife and their habitats please remember the following guidance:

  • BBQs are strictly prohibited across all our country park sites.
  • Dispose of litter carefully, especially glass or cigarettes and take picnic containers home to re-use or recycle if possible.
  • Do not swim in our lakes as there are hidden dangers in deep or cold water.
