Throughout the year our amazing team of Battlefield Guides delivers engaging guided walks around our Battlefield Trail, explaining the Wars of the Roses, the Battle of Bosworth, the death of King Richard III, the unlikely victory of Henry Tudor and what happened next!
As part of the walk the guides will lead our visitors in a recreation of the Battle of Bosworth, with flags and roleplay for those that wish to take part, making it a fun and engaging way to learn for all the family.
The Weekend and Bank Holiday Monday walks last around an hour and a half (maximum 2km depending on the weather) along made up footpaths around the beautiful country park on Ambion Hill, taking in all the views, the drama and the history with every step.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. The walk is recommended for age 7+ but everyone is welcome. Please wear suitable footwear for this outdoor experience.
Walks start at 11.30 to 1.00pm and at 2.00pm to 3.30pm from March to October.
From November to February we lead one walk a day at 11.30pm.
Cost: Adult £4.50, Concession £4.00, Child £3.00. Family Tickets are also available.
